After a year riddled with injuries and poor performances with both Liverpool and national team Spain at the World Cup this past summer, 2011 is a welcomed new change for the Spanish ace.
Not all was bad for the El Niño, who so happened to have a niño of his own this past month, baby leo anyone?
Even though he wasn’t in the best of form this past year, Torres along side his Spanish comrades took the 2010 World Cup, blowing out the German armada, who were demolishing through tournament heavy weights England and Argentina.
Even though 2010 tested Torres by dragging him through the ringers, it can be said such experiences will only better the number ’9′.
Let’s hope Torres can learn from his past trails and tribulations to make 2011 a smashing success both in his football career and in life. To the new year!
On a side note, I’ve missing the latest picture updates, so I’ll post the following…..
